To my soon to be 27 self: A reflection of the year that was

Its just days before you'll be turning a year older.

I know you had been wiser in the 26 years you have been blessed to live on earth.
You had accumulated friends that will be worth more than a lifetime to cherish,

stories to tell your future husband, kids or even grandkids,

experiences to remind you that you had been wrong once,

and most especially faith that will mould you to be a more better individual than what you are now.

"Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
 You guide me with your counsel,
    and afterward you will take me into glory.
 Whom have I in heaven but you?
   and the earth has nothing I desire besides you.
 My flesh and my heart may fail,
   but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." - Psalm 73:23-26
